Collection of Patterns
We hope you enjoy this collection of needlework patterns, which have all been created and made available by members of our Guild. There are designs for badges for our members, designs for East Kingdom award badges, and designs based on sources from the SCA period of study.
Most patterns are provided as large images, which can be downloaded to your own computer for printing. (For most systems, just right-click on an image and do a "save as".)
Athena's Thimble Badge
All guild members are encouraged to wear our unofficial guild badge. Shown is a beautiful sample of the badge done by Lady Johanna le Mercer. (Yes, the owl is holding a real needle!) You can display the badge on any item you wish. Extra "points" to those who also display their competency beads on the same item! For a traceable design and instructions, click here:

Golden Lyre Favor
The Golden Lyre is an award given by the Queen for an excellent display of arts. A supply of these favors is being generated. If you have questions about making a Golden Lyre favor or getting it to the royalty, contact the Guild Mistress.

Tissue Holders
A modern item but very useful item, making a decorative cover for a packet of tissues is easy and fun. You can embellish one using almost any technique. Here are some excellent instructions, written and made available by Mistress Vienna de la Mer:

2009 Triathlon Prize Patterns
The 2009 Triathlon was held at Southern Region War Camp on July 18, 2009. These patterns are being used to make book covers to be given as prizes.

The following patterns are the work of our own Mistress Dorren of Ashwell. Over the years, she designed these patterns for use in our competitions or for use in making prizes for our competitions. They are all based on period sources, and are made available for SCA use.
2005 Embroidery Contest Patterns
